That is so awesome. I'm excited there is actually something coming out of Starz now.

He does not look much like the visual image one gets from from the books of Lord John Grey--short, slight, very blond.

Whatever.

Angus and Dougal were totally not like their book descriptions. I don't think anyone cares anymore! I'd rather they find someone with the acting skills to embody the essence of the character rather than someone who looks exactly as described in the book.

That nice that people can be flexible. I'm one of the old book fans of Lord John Grey, so I am somewhat partial in this case. I haven't minded other actors not matching characters exactly either.

I agree, I do miss the small blond image of Lord John, but this tv version is mighty handsome, too!

He does have very nice features, which helps a lot.

Oh, yeah.
Dead handsome, I also like the guy they've cast as his elder brother. Doesn't really look much like him which screws with continuity a bit, but I guess they're not going to get into those plot points in Outlander. If I had my way, Lord John would have his own series. Some fans tried to talk me out of liking them, saying they were totally turned off by the Lord John novels, I tried them anyway, and now they are favorites.
