Richard Rankin in "Thirteen"
I am not sure if this is 100% kosher since it's not about Outlander in any way, so please feel free to remove it.

That said, I wanted to share that Richard "Roger" Rankin is currently starring in a BBC series called "Thirteen". It's a police procedural/mystery about a young girl who was kidnapped/disappeared and then reappears thirteen years later. Richard is one of the two main detectives handling the case.

I've watched the first two episodes and it's really, really superb. If you have no major moral/ethical reservations re: torrenting, I highly recommend downloading it (assuming you're not in the UK and can watch it legally).

(Side note: I've not seen that many shows with Richard Rankin, but I swear he's played a cop in everything I have seen of his.)

Also: reminder -- if you're watching Sophie Skelton's internet show "Ren", episode two drops today (at 8:00 p.m. UK time).

If this is about Rik then it is kosher. I'm going to watch if at all possible. Thanks for the heads up.

Oops. Premature submitting.

I watched Crimson Field and he's an Army surgeon which was good but very short lived. He barely had a character it was so short. But I loved every moment.

I need to watch that!

Hmm, I can't get it to download. Hopefully, BBC America will air it sometime soon.

A show Richard is in that you definitely should see is The Crimson Field. It aired last summer on PBS Masterpiece Theatre. You can find the entire series on YouTube or perhaps the PBS website. It's a British production. He was absolutely wonderful in it and he does NOT play a cop, he's a World War I Army doctor. *g*

Here are some clips incorporated into a music video.
